This is a new version of a smaller oil painting I started right after the Uvalde massacre. I think I called it “The Boy Inside.” I knew there was something there, but I just couldn’t get that painting to work. This time I’m happy with it.

I wonder what’s going on here. Is this something they just stumbled upon? Does it belong to someone else or to them? Is it a gift, it does look attractive and pretty with all those colors. Or maybe it’s something more like a Trojan Horse… hmmm. Can’t be too careful with this love stuff, y’know.
