Another riff on early times. Or maybe current times also. So let’s get (meta)physical:
At some point, consciousness, or at least individual consciousness, broke free of the Great Consciousness. Downloaded from the Cloud, and went on its merry way.
Except — as we know, when you download something from the Cloud, it’s still in the cloud.
Just sayin’…….

It’s not meant to be a literal portrait of our early (very) distant ancestors, but it’s more like a reminder, a loving tribute to those that preceded us. Swimming in the proverbial primordial soup, many distinct entities coming together specializing and cooperating to make cells.
Which make us.
Which makes societies.
Which makes me think that maybe that’s how the world is still supposed to work. Seems like the ancestors maybe knew a thing or two.

This makes me think of a soul coming in fast to incarnate. So what’s with the plowed fields?
We’re all coming in over fields others have plowed, for as far back as there has been humanity, and longer. The old saying is “we stand on the shoulders of giants.” And why are we coming in so fast like a jet landing? Well who wouldn’t be eager to be coming in to this amazing life that others have given their hearts, souls and bodies for?
And guess what: we get to be the next generation of giants for the ones who come after us.

“Hello, I Am Flower” is a representation of the Flower Diva. Or to be a little more scientific, a morphic field pattern of flowers. Thanks to Rupert Sheldrake for his morphic field concept.

Well it sure feels like madness anyway. It used to be called “the little death” but I think it’s more accurately a form of nightly insanity.
Oh I know all the supposed wonderful things about dreams giving you great insight, and lucid dreaming and all, but with rare (very rare) exceptions, my experience has been that sleep (at least the dreaming portion) is a mental state to be escaped quickly and thankfully.
Not that dreams are always bad, because those are also the rare exceptions. But still, dreams are just nuts in a way I can’t wrap my head around. And honestly, it’s never proved to be worth the effort.
Just my experience, anyway. How ’bout you?

Sometimes it’s true that the promised land, or at least some pretty good things lie on the other side of the fire. By which I mean something difficult or unpleasant that we go through. It’s happened to us many times.
One of the more memorable ones was how we arrived at a home that is just wonderful for us. Three years ago we were evicted from our rental of 17 years. We felt betrayed, we were hurt and angry. We scrambled to find another place, and moved. That didn’t work out well, and after six months we broke the lease and forfeited our security deposit.
But we found the home we’re in now, we were able to afford buying it, and it’s the nicest place we’ve lived in for over 25 years. There’s studio space for both of us, central air, and on and on. It sure seemed like we were going through the fire with all the emotional turmoil, having to move twice in six months, moving to a different state, with all the red tape that entailed.
But if we hadn’t been evicted and decided to look for a new place after our first forced move the home we’re in now wouldn’t have been up for sale at a price we could afford at exactly the time we needed it.
Now this isn’t pollyanna, I know sometimes the fire destroys. But so often it’s just clearing out the old to make way for something better than we thought possible.
