Lighthouse Watching

So this is the new exploring I’m doing now. I love the massive presence these have, they really stand out from purely flat art.

The lighthouse is a beacon of hope as a storm gathers. But more than a storm, there’s a powerful vortex threatening everything in its path. The image presents a hopeful thought to cling to in these times, reminding us that if we keep our eyes on the light of goodness and love in the darkest and most violent of times there will ultimately be a day when the storm has disappeared and the light remains. The light always remains.

This is mounted linoleum, so it’s a bit heavier than my usual work. The sides are painted black so you can hang it unframed, but if you want it framed, I suggest going to a professional frame shop.
