Another one exploring the same theme as the last post. How do you graciously accept a compliment anyway? Very easy for some people, not so much for others.
Staying humble but being pleased is nice, and I don’t think that crosses over into excessive pride. After all, true humility isn’t about putting yourself down, it’s much more about seeing yourself accurately, neither more nor less than who and what you are. And if there’s something about you worthy to be admired (there always is!) then that’s an honest source of healthy self-esteem.
