It’s so interesting to me to see what happens on the path between small pencil sketch and full color painting. This is not at all what I had in mind at the pencil stage, but I’m very happy with the direction it ultimately took. I guess all the wildfires and climate change in the news came through.

I don’t much care what you do to one another, but if you’re not going to take care of what I’ve given you, at least you’ve got to learn to clean up after yourselves.
